It is possible to add different languages to the website. To do so, there is two main important steps: first, add the new language, and then have the Language Selector module on a page. For a visual representation of this topic, please watch the video below:
1. How to add a new language
1.1. Adding the details for new language
On the bottom of the Page Tree you can find the Add Language Option. Clicking on it will open the menu to add the details for the new language. After writing the name of the language, choosing its abbreviation from the dropdown menu and the region code (if relevant), clicking on the "Create Language" button will finalize the process.
1.2. How does it look?
The new language will show up underneath the existing pages on the initial language. It is now possible to create brand new pages in the new language or copy the existing pages and translate the content. To learn how to copy pages, please click here.
1.3. Duplicating the existing pages on the initial language
Instead of copying each page individually, there is an option to duplicate all the existing pages on the initial language at the same time. To do so, hover your mouse on the initial language, move it over the Settings icon and click on the Duplicate Language option from the dropdown menu. All you must do after is rename the new language and the pages by editing its settings, and translating the content.
Note: The editor doesn't automatically translate any content.
2. How to add the Language Selector Module
You will find the Language Selector Module as a Basic Module on the Global Styling tab. Drag the module to the page to a new or existing row. A button with a dropdown menu with the different languages will be created. This button can be personalized through the module's menu or on the Language Selector Settings on the sidebar.
