How to Create Row Groups (Carousel)

Use Row Groups to display sliding images on your website, adding a great effect to the overall design. This feature is also often called a carousel. Row groups are groups of rows, including images, text and any other modules, that switch on a defined interval within the same space. Watch the video below for a quick tutorial!

1. How to create a row group?

To create a row group, click on the Menu of the row you wish to make the group for and click on Create Group. A new, blank slide will appear in the same space.

2. Slide options

2.1. Add Slide

You can find all your slides by clicking on the Rowgroup menu, under Slides. Here you can see all your existing slides and add new ones. To do so click on Slides and choose the last option: + Add Slide.

2.2. Copy Slide

To copy a slide, find the row menu and choose the Copy option. If then you click on the row menu again and choose the Paste option, the slide will be duplicated and added right after the original one, being automatically part of the rowgroup.

2.3. Change Slide order

To change the slide order, click on the three vertical dots on the right side of the row menu of the slide you wish to move, and drag it into your preferred position.

2.4. Delete Slide

To delete a slide, click on the row menu of the slide you wish to delete and click on Delete.

Note: If you delete the rowgroup instead, all the rows within the rowgroup will be deleted.

3. Edit Rowgroup

To edit a rowgroup find the centered menu and click on the Edit option.

3.1. Styling

In the Styling tab you can choose to add a background color or image to all the rows in the rowgroup. To add individual background, you must do it in each row menu. In this section it is also possible to style the arrow and circle pagina navigation.

3.1.1. ARROWS

In case you have enabled arrow navigation (see 3.2.1.), in this section it is possible to style the arrows. You can define the arrow's background width and height as well as its color in all states - normal and hover. It is also possible to define the actual icon (arrow) size as well as its color in all states. The last styling option is the border radius where it is possible to round up the icon background.

3.1.2. CIRCLE PAGINA

In case you have enabled circle pagina (see 3.2.2.), in this section it is possible to style the width and height of the dots as well as their background and border color in all states - normal, hover and active. It is also possible to define the border width and radius, which dictates how rectangular or round the icons should be.

3.2. Settings

3.2.1. Arrow Navigation

When this option is enabled, the navigation between slides of the rowgroup will be done through an arrow on each side, moving the slides on the respective direction.

3.2.2. Circle Pagina Navigation

When this option is enabled, the navigation will be done with circles (dots) on the bottom of the gallery.

3.2.3. Pause on Hover

When this option is enabled, the slides will stop automatically changing if someone is hovering their mouse over the pictures. Once they hover somewhere else in the page, the slides will go back to automatically changing.

3.2.4. Auto Change of Slides

When this option is enabled, the change of slides in the rowgroup will be done automatically.

3.2.5. Transition

With this option you can define the transition animation for your row group - "slide", in which each slide moves horizontally; "slow fade", in which the slide fades for 800 milliseconds; and "fast fade", in which the slide fades for 200 milliseconds.

3.2.6. Transition Interval

By default the transition interval is 5000 milliseconds. Choose a smaller value if you want the transition interval to be shorter and a bigger value if you want the transition interval to be bigger.
